I proudly participated in the “Visualising the Voice of Maria Callas” exhibition, held at the Greek National Opera Foyer at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. As part of this innovative VR installation series, I developed one of the five virtual reality experiences inside TouchDesigner, exploring the emotional and spatial impact of Maria Callas’ voice. Through sound-driven architectural visualization, my work focused on blending opera excerpts with immersive digital environments to reimagine how we perceive space and sound.

This project was organized by the Greek National Opera in collaboration with the Digital Media Lab (DmLab) of the Technical University of Crete, under the guidance of artist Georgios Cherouvim. It was presented from 7 to 21 December 2023 and will continue its journey online via GNO TV and physically in Chania, Crete in spring 2024. This VR installation was part of the official GNO tribute to Maria Callas, celebrating the 100th anniversary of her birth as part of the UNESCO Callas Centennial, supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Public Power Corporation (PPC).
