4 SECONDS’’

3D made with Blender

The 4seconds is a captivating journey that invites us to explore the unknown depths of the ocean. Inspired by the philosophical thought of Botjard, this exhibition work aims to convey the idea that the ocean is not just a physical space, but also a realm of meaning and symbolism that can reveal deep insights into our existence.

According to Botjard's philosophy, the ocean represents the collective unconscious, the mysterious and powerful force that lies beneath our everyday consciousness. As we dive deeper into the ocean, we also dive deeper into ourselves, confronting our fears, desires, and hidden aspects of our psyche.
The 4seconds presents a series of immersive installations that recreate the sensation of being submerged in water. Through the use of sound, light, and projection, visitors are transported to an underwater world, where they can observe the delicate balance of life and death, the interplay between light and darkness, and the infinite variety of forms and colors that exist in this hidden realm. How does the ocean challenge our notions of space and time? How does it reveal the interconnectedness of all life forms? What lessons can we learn from the fragility and resilience of the ocean ecosystem?By exploring these questions, the  work encourages to expand their consciousness and to connect with the deeper dimensions of reality that are often obscured by our daily routines. Ultimately, the underwater experience offers us a glimpse of the profound mystery that lies at the heart of existence, inviting us to dive deeper into the ocean of consciousness and to discover the hidden treasures that await us there.
